About PROJECT REDO!

Mission

Project ReDo is a youth rehabilitation program that transforms court-referred youth into goal-driven community members. With mentorship, life skills, and restorative practices, we offer youth not just consequences—but a pathway to purpose.

Who We Serve

  • Ages: 12–17

  • Referred by: Courts, schools, police, probation, parents

  • Primary demographics: BIPOC youth, low-income households, trauma-exposed teens

  • Locations: Springfield, Holyoke, Franklin, and Berkshire County

What We Offer

Project ReDo provides a structured, evidence-informed approach to juvenile justice diversion and youth development. Participants engage in daily programming that balances accountability, support, and skill-building. Core services include:

  • Mental Health Check-ins
Weekly sessions with licensed mental health clinicians, delivered via telehealth or in person, focusing on emotional regulation, trauma awareness, and resilience.

  • Daily Snack
Youth receive a nutritious healthy snack during each program session, supporting food security and routine stability while learning about nutrition and self-care.

  • Academic Support
An initial academic assessment will be conducted, and Homework help and academic check-ins are provided daily, with communication to schools and parents. At the end of the cohort parents will meet with a Career management team (CMT) and their child where they will receive a set of short term S.M.A.R.T. goals and a plan for success to help monitor progress and ensure success.

  • Structured Curriculum Cohorts
An 8-week workbook-based curriculum developed by Raising Royalty, addressing Purpose, Emotions, Accountability, and Growth. Youth work through topics tied to opioid and violence prevention, self-worth, peer pressure, and goal setting.

  • Life & Career Readiness
Participants gain real-world skills including personal hygiene, professional etiquette, job readiness, and hands-on cleaning/food prep guided by a ServeSafe-trained instructor.

  • Weekly Enrichment Field Trips
Teens are exposed to positive environments through outings to colleges, cultural sites, workplaces, and community events, reinforcing engagement and broadening future outlook. Arts and Cultural activties will be ntegrated into instruction and participants will be adked to render a final project detailing the world around them gaining respect for community, self, others, and most importantly themselve.

  • Restorative Community Service
Participants contribute to Underground Grace’s community outreach by preparing meals and organizing hygiene kits for homeless or disconnected youth, reinforcing empathy, teamwork, and civic responsibility.

  • Progress Monitoring & Reporting
Weekly behavioral and participation updates are shared with juvenile court officers, guardians, and school liaisons to ensure accountability and alignment.
